Jake Bean Drafted by Guardians | Cleveland Guardians News

Jake Bean, a Louisville transfer pitcher, gets drafted by the Cleveland Guardians in the 11th round—his $150K signing bonus makes him the fifth Louisville player selected this year. Despite a rough 2023 season with a high ERA and poor strikeout-to-walk ratio, Bean was a standout at Kent State, earning All-Conference honors. His draft marks the 116th player taken during Coach Dan McDonnell’s 20-year tenure. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
