“Courage isn’t having the strength to go on – it is going on when you have no strength.” After weeks of trying to align schedules we finally got to sit down with endurance athlete Jake Malby, AKA The Forest Goat. From being at the literal end of his life with the chair, rope and note ready to go, to the phone call that changed the trajectory of his life forever. Jake is no stranger to the dark, scary depths of mental health but has stood up and said enough is enough. He is now a decorated ultra, endurance athlete from 31 marathons in 31 days to a 24 hour endurance run, Jake understands what it takes to master the mind and his spirit in his quest of self enlightenment.  An advocate for mental health awareness his mission is to change the way we look at mental health through fund raising, running and connecting with the community and in all his glory, has achieved this and beyond. With many feats planned for the future, we cannot wait to see what this powerhouse human has to offer. Big things to come for the man.
