Jake Smith - The Rising GB Star - Episode 62

In todays episode we're joined by Jake Smith, an up and coming GB athlete at the tender age of just 23. He catapulted onto the scene in March 2020 when he came third at the big half and qualified to run at the World Half where he went on to run the 3rd fastest time in UK history. He ran a marathon recently where he was just due to pace and drop out with a few laps to go, however, ran the whole way and got an olympic qualifying time without even setting out to do so. Jake is aiming to qualify for the Olympics in the 10000m event and at such a young age in Athletics, he's a very promising athlete. Jake seems like he has all the right traits to take him all the way!
