Mark Anthony Coke, known throughout West Kingston as Jah T, was the son of Tivoli Gardens don Lester “Jim Brown” Coke and the man many believed was being prepared to inherit his father’s power. In February 1992, Jah T was shot while travelling along Maxfield Avenue. His death shook Tivoli Gardens and opened one of the darkest chapters in the history of the Coke family. Within roughly two weeks, Jim Brown was also dead after a fire inside his prison cell.
