Jamel Griffin Jr. Commits to Syracuse

Jamel Griffin Jr., a blazing-fast three-star cornerback from Opelika, Alabama, has committed to Syracuse, beating out Kentucky and others in a fierce recruiting battle. Ranked 124th nationally and 47th in Alabama, Griffin’s elite athleticism — a 4.43 40-yard dash and 40-inch vertical — paired with his dominant high school season (83 tackles, 4 sacks, 4 pass break-ups) makes him a huge win for the Orange. His commitment boosts Syracuse’s 2027 class to 17 players, including four defensive backs, pushing the class to 32nd nationally and 9th in the ACC. Griffin’s speed, playmaking, and championship pedigree signal a major upgrade for Syracuse’s secondary. Support the show:Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
