James 1

from Morning Star Church Messages (Video)

Is your faith in Jesus Christ growing or are you getting your needs met from other people? We don’t know how deeply Jesus can meet our deepest needs. So when we go to people instead of Jesus we are getting our needs met through that person instead of Jesus. When we do this we can not live completely in the truth. James needed God to redefine His relationship with Jesus, and we need to go to God to redefine our relationships and who we go to to get our needs for wisdom, love, and security met.
