We should never be discouraged, Take it to the Lord in prayer.” What a comforting reminder of this unique privilege of ours, from a familiar hymn, “What a Friend We Have In Jesus”. Yet so often, in our hour of trouble, the last place we turn is to the one who can bring relief. Let’s strive together instead to turn to our Father in prayer first, and not last!
