In our interview we cover resources to kick start your programming curriculum, the integration of hardware such as the Raspberry Pi into the process and how coding is now the new, and should be, mandatory curriculum for a competitive future. BioJames Abela started his working life working for Acorn (made the BBC Micro), the printing giant SATO and ARM (Designs CPUs for Apple and Android) before deciding to become a teacher. Since starting to teach he's had the honour to help write the UK national curriculum for Computing, is 21st Century Learning teacher of the year 2014, An Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Certified Teacher and a Raspberry Pi Certified Educator.Connect With James Twitter
