James Bond Will Return with Scott Mendelson & Aaron Neuwirth

Some news occurred in the recent weeks that struck a pretty hard cord in the film nerd circles. Barbara Broccoli & Michael G. Wilson have agreed to relinquish all creative control of the James Bond franchise to Amazon. A once protected and family owned cinematic operation would now be in the hands of the corporate overlord…or Blofeld owns Bond if you think about it. What would this mean? Will we see our greatest fears realized? Scott Mendelons, Aaron Neuwirth and I take a break from recording the upcoming The Summer of 2015 at 10 to talk about what makes Bond special, the assumptions on how the franchise will be handled and a discussion of “Who exactly is Amazon and does their past film & television decisions warrant this fear?”.
