James Carmody, No Such thing as Zero Sum
from Cherry Bomb! The Podcast Hosted by Matt McKee
James Carmody asks the right questions, at the right time, to maintain the dignity and respect his guests, his venders and his staff, while changing the world. What do the hospitality industry and the hospital industry have in common? Well, from a manager's point of view, everything. You have staff who need training and guidance, you have guests/patients/customers who need your services. But, above all, you have people who want to learn, want satisfaction and want their dignity. Jim learned early on that it wasn't what you knew so much as what you asked that got results. Join me as Jim and I sit down in the studio to talk about his career path, his philosophies about people and sustainability, and his plans for the future.
