Nicknamed 'Slim' due to his 6ft7 height, and 140 pound weight, James lived an easy going and unassuming life often living with various friends and relatives for stretches at a time. On April 7, 2000, James was reported missing by friends that he was staying with. They claimed that he vanished while they were inside a Food Lion store shopping. However, when the video surveillance from the store was checked, it told a different story, and James was never seen again. James's son Bobby discusses this puzzling case in this episode.
