James Ghareeb is a folk songwriter and one of my closest friends. Which means this one goes deep fast. James is in the middle of what he calls wreckage. A breakup he didn't want. A homeland under attack. Family in Beirut he checks on morning and night. You're gonna hear about the summer he was 11, when war broke out in Lebanon, the airport was bombed, and a US military helicopter carried him and one handbag out of the country while most of his family had to stay.
