Since November 2022, writer and director James Gunn and producer Peter Safran have overseen DC Studios, a new subdivision of Warner Bros. Discovery tasked with bringing DC’s comic books to film, TV, and video games. DC Studios replaces DC Films, which until recently oversaw nearly all of DC’s onscreen projects.
