James shares his transformational mindset journey as he climbed the ladder of success, but still missing one key component in his life.

James Ortiz. Born and raised in Nicaragua until the age of 17. Grew up in a single mom's household as the oldest out of 4 kids. Arrived in Los Angeles, CA January 29, 2010, graduated high school that same year and went into community college to become a social worker.  Started his professional career at a local grocery store, pushing shopping carts and stocking shelves. Then went on to work with a national Beverage Company as a merchandiser/ sales associate and later joined a Worldwide recognized beverage company as a Business Development representative.   Today he serves as Business Development Officer for a technology company he and his family started from the ground.   He is also a Leadership Development Coach certified with the Maxwell Leadership Team. And his mission is to equip youth with the leadership and communication skills, so that they break the cycles of poverty and inadequacy and become empowered professionals and strong leaders.
