Jamie Bush - Technology Discussion

from Dabi's Daughter presents... "HerStory" Hosted by Hosted by Layla S and Brunella E/ Founded by I. Bradwell-El and D. Kyle Bradwell

Jamie is the Vice President of Technology Development at Xceleration, where he leads a team responsible for all aspects of the company’s technology, including the software development and infrastructure for the company’s enterprise customer-facing platform, the company’s corporate network as well as internal IT support for employees’ laptops, company printers, etc. Jamie obtained a BS in Business Administration Degree from Appalachian State University in 1994. With the help of working alongside more experienced developers and leveraging every resource possible to increase his coding skills, it wasn’t long before he made the full transition to the engineering team writing code full time. Jamie credits the combination of project management and coding experience to his success in managing a large diverse team at Xceleration, where the pace is often hectic. “Having perspectives from both sides is invaluable because delivering technology solutions is always about striking a balance between cost, scope and time. It has also provided me with the communication skills needed to bridge the divide between the technology department and other departments within the company.”
