Jamir Dean Chooses Georgia Over Penn State

Jamir Dean, a four-star wide receiver from Alcoa, Tennessee, has flipped his commitment from Penn State to Georgia, adding elite firepower to the Bulldogs’ 2027 class. Known for his explosive speed, shifty after-catch moves, and multi-sport excellence, Dean was wooed by Georgia’s relentless pursuit led by wide receivers coach James Coley. After visiting both schools and taking time to reset, Dean chose Georgia — praising Coley’s consistent communication and personalized attention. Now the 15th commitment in the class, Dean could be an immediate impact player at the Power Four level, joining Taurean Rawlins as Coley’s top targets.
