Send us Fan MailIn episode #15 of Drums and Rums, where the backbeats meet the spirits. We're away from the drum shack as part of our Rummer Time series. It's was our first podcast recorded live outside out on the patio of the new Twisted Tuna in Jupiter, FloridaOn this podcast our guest is Brad Brock, singer/songwriter and host of the “Jams and Cocktails” podcast. Brad is a one man band where he plays an unique drum set with his feet rather than using a drum track for his shows. This setup provides a truly full band sound. Brad's sound and style has been described as a mix of Cat Stevens, Tom Petty and Jack Johnson. You can catch his weekly live podcasts on Wednesday nights streamed on YouTube and Facebook where he interviews local musicians and they perform some of their original music. Big props to Brad for helping promote local music and helping keep the music scene in the south Florida area going.I'd like to thank our the Twisted Tuna owners Kenny and Rachelle for letting us take over the patio, Stephanie our server and the entire staff. Also thanks to fellow local musician Chris Springer, good friend to Brad and I as well as Johnny Ringo owner of Code Rum for sitting in on the podcast.  The opening track is "Unrequited" by Brad Here's the things we learn about Brad Brock:How he developed his one man band percussion stage setup? What was it like performing and living at sea on a cruise ship? How his podcast has evolved from the inception to where it’s at now and where he would like to take it?Talks about his how he came up with the songs for his 4 albums The idea behind the Brad Brock app How we connected with Johnny Ringo and Code Rum and his Tahiti Joe's "Hot Pub" hot sauceIn the Rapid 5 we learn about If he would you do a stint on a cruise ship again? What’s your go to local beach?Which is his favorite Code Rum flavor?Which one of his albums is his favorite? What song gets him your the biggest tip in the tip bucket?Brad's links:https://www.bradbrock.com/https://www.facebook.com/bradbrockmusichttps://www.youtube.com/user/bradbrockmusichttps://www.instagram.com/bradbrockmusichttps://www.facebook.com/jncpodcastAnd check out our site and linkshttp://www.drumsandrums.com/https://www.facebook.com/drumsandrums/https://www.patreon.com/drumsandrumshttps://www.instagram.com/drumsandrum/
