But beneath the fun lies an urgent message: over half of the world's 262 monkey species are threatened with extinction.Monkey Day reminds us that our closest relatives in the animal kingdom need our help.Renowned primatologist Jane Goodall, who spent over 60 years studying chimpanzees, captured the essence of conservation when she said:"Only if we understand, will we care.
