Janelle Ward and I were once eager grad students at the University of Amsterdam where we dove head first into the world of personal publishing before most of the world had any idea what this was or why it would matter. 20+ years later, we are communications professionals, somehow still sitting in the Netherlands, watching events unfold online and offline.
