Janet Flaugher is the author of the book, “Two Bottles of Water”. This book chronicles the 1.5 years she and her husband spent living in Beijing after she accepted a position as superintendent of an international school in 2002. She explores not only culture shock and language barriers, but also what education looks like through a global lens. With honesty and humor, she reflects on what American educators and families can learn from Chinese education and culture.
