She decided to take her love of storytelling and her archive of crazy family stories and write her first novel. Janet published her literary debut, The Shoes Come First, in 2015. Today, she is a full-time chiropractor and acupuncturist who splits her time between seeing patients and working on her next Jennifer Cloud novel. Janet loves to write about ordinary people doing extraordinary things. She lives in Texas with her husband, three children, and two dogs.
