She then had roles on hit shows such as Diff'rent Strokes and Fame, before starting her musical career as a teen in the 1980's. Since then she's released 11 studio albums and has sold well over 100 million albums worldwide, and has influenced some of the biggest pop stars in the world today.She continued her acting career in the 90's and 2000's in films like Poetic Justice, Nutty Professor II, the Why Did I Get Married series and For Colored Girls.We forgot to mention that she comes from one of the most famous families in entertainment.
