Jansen Returns as Tigers Seek Turnaround
from Detroit Tigers News Today | 2 Min News | The Daily News Now!
Kenley Jansen’s comeback is heating up—after a May injury sidelined him with pelvic inflammation, the Tigers closer is throwing a bullpen session this Friday and could return next week. Though his ERA hovered around 4.8 before the injury, he’s still a reliable arm with plenty of bounce-back potential. Meanwhile, Detroit’s season is in flux: battling injuries, trade whispers, and a 25-38 record, they’re clinging to hope after sweeping the division-leading Rays and aiming for their fourth straight win tonight against Seattle. If Jansen heals right and the team keeps rolling, maybe this is the start of a turnaround. Support the show: Get a discount at https://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
