And in Matthew 8, a Roman centurion reaches out to Jesus—not for himself, but for someone else who was hurting—and he believed Jesus could help with just one word. Then, in Proverbs 3:30, we’re reminded not to pick fights with people who haven’t wronged us, which sounds simple—until we’re frustrated and just want to take it out on someone.All of these verses show us something powerful: God sees what others don’t.
