Maybe a LEGO set or a piece of furniture? At first, it seems doable, but soon enough, you're confused, frustrated, and probably ready to give up. That’s a lot like life without wisdom. In Proverbs 4:1–9, Solomon tells us to chase wisdom like it’s the most valuable treasure. Why? Because it actually is. In Matthew 12, Jesus reminds us that being close to God isn’t just about saying we believe—it’s about living like it. Those who listen to God and live out His will are truly part of His family. When we seek wisdom and walk in it, we grow closer to Him.________________________________________THINK ABOUT IT1. What is wisdom, really? Wisdom isn’t just being smart or getting good grades. It’s about knowing what’s right and having the courage to live it out—especially when it’s hard.2. Your choices matter: Proverbs talks about guarding what you hear, say, and think. Are your decisions helping you grow in wisdom or pulling you away from it?3. Family of faith: In Matthew 12:50, Jesus says obedience makes us His family. Are your actions showing that you belong to Him?________________________________________BOTTOM LINEWisdom is more than knowledge—it's choosing to live God's way every day. When we do that, we’re not just learning; we’re living as part of God’s family.________________________________________PRAYERHeavenly Father, thank You for the gift of wisdom and for inviting me to be part of Your family. Help me to listen to Your Word, make wise choices, and walk closely with You even when it’s tough. Give me insight to see what really matters and the strength to live it out. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
