Jacob's life was tragically cut short in the Metrolink train accident in Chatsworth, California on September 12th, 2008. The Jacob Hefter Foundation’s mission is to bring awareness to young adults to make positive choices and educates them about the dangers of texting while driving, distracted driving, and promotes public transportation safety.
