Don Alder returns to All About Guitar and we delve deeper into this amazing artist and guitarist. Known and acclaimed worldwide, Don was the 2016 Instrumental Artist of the Year for his latest work, "Armed and Dangerous," and was one of Lee Ritenour's advisory judges for his Six String Theory Contest. We take a closer look at Don's harp guitar playing and discuss technique and tuning of this beautiful instrument. We also take another look at Don's go-to Yamaha guitar. Also joining us are Yoshi Tambara of Yamaha guitars. Yoshi is the designer of Yamaha's acclaimed A Series guitars, which Don uses. Also joining us is Julian Ward, global strategy manager for Yamaha Guitars. We take a look at the demands Don requires from his guitars and how Yoshi has satisfied that with these beautiful guitars.
