January 26, 2020 - 1 John 2:3-11 - "A Light Has Dawned"

“Let’s get up really early and go out and watch the sunrise.” Those are words spoken by folks who see beauty and hope in the arrival of a new day. Yet what if every day began with the promise of better things? For those who despair over life’s distress and disappointments even at 6:30 in the  morning, Jesus Christ always brings a new day. “On those living in the land of deep darkness a Light has dawned.” That Light, the Lord Jesus Christ himself, always dawns with deeds and promises that raise the hopes of his people forever.
