No idea if it works, but see if this makes sense.Every segment, each of the hosts are allowed to give up to three thumbs up or down OR one thumb in the middle.There aren't usually a lot of middles and downs, so we leave those as they are - you'll know it's a stinker of a show if there's more than a handful of middles or more than a couple downs.We divide the ups by the number of segments, which means there's a possible rating of 0 to 9.
