He has known Liza for 17 years, and has performed with her on two tours for seven years. Cortes was also a part of "The Tonics" and his own "Cortes Alexander Trio." He just released his debut album "Swell" which received rave reviews from the Miami Herald and Instinct Magazine, as well as garnering 5 out of 5 stars from Broadway World. The album is an eclectic blend of jazz, pop-rock and euro-lounge music, and features a mix of original songs and covers.
