A new phone? More friends? Better grades? It’s easy to get caught up in chasing after things that seem important. Jesus gets it—Matthew 6 is full of reminders not to stress about stuff like clothes, food, or even tomorrow. But instead of worrying, He tells us to focus on God first. Similarly, Proverbs 3 tells us that wisdom—seeing life from God’s perspective—is more valuable than anything money can buy. When we put God’s truth and His way of living first, everything else falls into place.________________________________________THINK ABOUT IT1. What Are You Seeking? Jesus tells us to “seek first the kingdom of God.” What are you spending the most time thinking about or chasing after right now?2. Wisdom Over Wealth: Proverbs compares wisdom to treasure.
