Japan 2014. Keep Fighting Jules

from Formula Pubscast · host Formula Pubscast

The Japanese Grand Prix 2014 will probably be remembered for all the wrong reasons, but before the terrible circumstances of the end of the race, there was a decent race happening. Recorded before and in the immediate aftermath of the Japanese Grand Prix, the Pubscast finds its host Paul Hadsley in absentia, leaving regular contributors Chris Woods and Rachel Simmonite to take over the reigns for a grand prix that looked like it wouldn't happen. Then did. Then, in a way, we all kind of wish didn't. As stated, this was recorded before the magnitude of the Jules Bianchi situation was known so please do not feel are making light of a terrible moment in the F1 season, however it was felt to be important that the podcast was aired to really capture that unsure moment before the magnitude of the Bianchi crash dawned on us all. All of us at Motorsport In Pubs and the Formula Pubscast wish Jules Bianchi and his family the best possible wishes at this time and we all hope Jules recovers fully to race again soon. The Pubscast will be back at full strength for Sochi where we hope we will return with better news for Jules Bianchi.
