Japan + bridging the digital nomad gap between east and west, w/ Akina Shu

Akina Shu is on a mission to bridge the digital nomad gap between the east and west. As the Founder of Nomad University and an advisor to the Japanese Digital Nomad Association, she’s now working with the local government to ease access to Japan for travelers and nomads, and will host the country’s first pop-up coliving this October. Her work as a keynote speaker, published author, and podcast host has earned her a spot as one of the most influential digital nomads in Asia, and our conversation today spans around-the-world cruises with her dad, to east-west cultural differences, to setting up home bases in various countries, and the soon-to-be Japanese digital nomad visa.
