Japanese food inspirations found in a new novel, The Silver Thread

Kate Lord Brown, a former Petersfield resident's, latest novel, The Silver Thread is a tale of three cities and two women, spanning 100 years.  An unforgettable love story set in London, Paris and Tokyo, exploring the meeting of Eastern and Western cultures. Noni Needs discovers when Kate Lord Brown first ate Japanese food, learnt to cook the cuisine during lockdown and how one character, Mira, deals with her experience of trying Japanese food for the first time.
