Jase Hawkins on the heartbreak of losing both parents

Hello! Today, we are joined by Jase Hawkins. Jase likely needs no introduction; he’s the co-host of Nova 100’s Melbourne breakfast show, alongside the brilliant Lauren Phillips. Jase and Lauren started out together on KISS; in fact, they first were introduced in a hotel room, where their initial chemistry test took place, but in 2024, they lost their breakfast slot to Kyle and Jackie O, who began broadcasting out of Melbourne. However, there is much more to Jase than his warm and hilarious radio persona.  In this conversation, Jase opens up about his early radio career and why he owes it all to Kyle Sandilands, how he’s processed the grief of losing both of his parents in the space of three years, and why he will give everyone the time of day, no matter who they are.
