Jasmine Najera LCSW is a social justice activist and started her career working with at risk youth. She has worked for over 20 years as an administrator and provider for the Santa Cruz Health Services in the Behavior Health Division. She has developed innovative programs creating partnerships and collaborations with law enforcement and local court systems. She has helped develop the Mental Health Liaisons to Law Enforcement Team, the Crisis Intervention Team Training, and helped establish and create the Santa Cruz Behavior Health Court. Her dedication to improving the health of youth and adults involved in the criminal justice system is based on her commitment to serving and giving back to her community.
