Jason Brown and other new freshmen who could start for Arizona State Sun Devils football in 2024

The incoming 2024 recruiting class for Arizona State Sun Devils football has plenty of talented freshmen, some of whom will be difficult to keep off the football field. Of course, they will be joining a program that has tons of new and returning faces that will drive steep competition. After the 2023 class so a lot of redshirts due to the competition, there's a genuine possibility that the 2024 class faces the same fate. But with that being said, there are a handful of players who can fight their way into significant playing roles and some into starting positions. Four-star running back Jason Brown tops the list not just on the recruiting side of things but also for a chance to start, while offensive linemen Terrell Kim and Semisi Tonga also compete for playing time. There's a chance for Zechariah Sample to touch the football in more ways than one, and James Giggey and Chris Johnson Jr. could make life difficult for their competition.
