Jason Heeres is a photojournalist for WWMT-TV in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He’s been in the news business for 12 years. Covering many events like tornados and flooding, to an NFC championship, and several Final Fours. Even covering presidential visits and interviewing Vice-President Mike Pence. Jason has been nominated for two Michigan Emmy’s and won Michigans best AP-photographer for 2018. He enjoys spending his off days at home with his kids, and capturing the fun and documenting the at-home life while he’s not at work.
