Born in China, Jason’s parents actually came to the US without him when he was just 4 years old. They worked multiple, often laborious, jobs, and eventually filed for Jason to join them.Jason eventually attended Brooklyn Law School, and among his wonderful classes, took part in an asylum clinic that really impacted him. His team worked on a case for someone from Cote D’Ivoire and he realized how impactful immigration law is on peoples’ lives.Jason started at an immigration firm, made partner, and eventually broke off on his own… but he realized that to be maximally impactful, he needed to augment his team with more tech. When generative AI took off is when he realized that was the answer.
