January 19th, 2019Jason Offutt has been interested in monsters all his life, from the monster under the bed to the ones that lurks outside in the darkness. He grew up on a farm near the town of Orrick, Missouri. In his life, he’s been a farm hand, journalist, photographer, bartender and the mayor of a small town.Jason’s books include the paranormal titles, “Chasing American Monsters,” “What Lurks Beyond,” and “Darkness Walks: The Shadow People among us,” the novels, “Bad Day for theApocalypse” and “Bad Day for a Road Trip,” and the parody survival guide, “How to Kill Monsters Using Common Household Objects.” Jason also writes a weekly syndicated humor column. He lives with his family in Northwest Missouri where he teaches college journalism and keeps humanity safe from the inevitable invading Martian space army.
