Jason Picks -- Daddy Longlegs

Hey, you seen that "Uncut Gems"? Pretty good, right? Stressful? How bout that "Good Time"? I had to take a break in the middle of that one, almost had a panic attack. Well those are movies written and directed by the Safdie brothers. Honestly? They're pretty amazing. So for my pick (hey, it's me Jason), I said let's watch "Daddy Longlegs". It's an earlier Safdie, and I'd heard it was good, but it sounded like bad things were gonna happen to the kids in it and I've got two boys just like in the movie. It had been sitting on my desktop for over a year and this podcast was my excuse to watch it. Some thoughts on the movie would be that Abel Ferrara is a completely believable street person who will probably kill you, Faraz is right about everything, lizards don't go in food, and it would seem that the world is worse for having Lenny in it.
