Okay So yeah traveling do you have you been over around like overseas doing comedy? No, I haven't done to Amsterdam No, but it looks cool doing comedy and Amsterdam would be awesome. It sounds because I talked to Steph Tull of who did it and she said that a lot of people a lot of tourists that don't speak English Okay, and I'm like well that doesn't sound that great and she's like yeah, not really but you're traveling, you know I'm like, okay, that does sound cool, but the actual sets doing the shows sound like it's a little bit of a struggle Well, there used to be this hostile show in Santa Monica. I it's still on I did it last week I was about to bring that up That's so weird yeah, cuz I did that a couple years ago and that was interesting because like half the room knew what I was Talking about and then other people had no idea what was happening.
Yes, no, that's still exactly what's happening That's such a crazy show to do I like to do that show to see what translates and what doesn't I did a show there last week where there was a guy that was German in the front And I said something about I don't think you'd say it but like you know that organization that was in the war And they had like really evil clothing. They were like pretty cool looking Marilyn Manson kind of likes him It's like the inward yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you probably can't say that right Zach It's probably not a great idea that organization sponsored by Hugo Boss right so we know who we're talking about you've covered that So it's like an organization that was in war they they were pretty positive that they were the the ultimate race of people Yeah, they were like really content on kind of wiping out other people that weren't down with it. I think we all know what you're talking Right, yeah, yeah, sure everybody knows you never know people are slow the online slangers yachty, but that's not I don't think that was appropriate I think that was unnecessary Everything I was enough over go wait to go Just trying to help you get the gen Z kids well man, I don't need them okay, they need me So anyway, I may I did sort of say that he may have been affiliated with that particular crew and he said yeah eyes I kind of a The word uh-huh and everybody there went what and I went wait what dude no maybe your English is so bad But what you just said right then was that you are kind of a uh-huh part of that association Yeah, he said the word like yeah, yeah, I like those guys Yeah, that's crazy Yeah, and I went in on him for it and was like you know We should all beat him up in the parking lot after the show yeah, and then you know ha ha he's not getting out He's not trying to get out of it And I'm like I'm and super suspect of this guy now then the next comic that comes up We both know Angie Angie shroud uh-huh she comes up uh-huh and she starts her set couple of jokes and then goes by the way People don't tell but I'm half black uh-huh and he gets up and walks out no and I'm like Again, maybe he needed to pee no, but it was at that particular time and did he come back? No, he was out front smoking a cigarette when we left and Angie was in front of me And I was walking with my girlfriend and Angie was in front of me and he walks past the guy and when he walked past the guy He did the stare at Angie's butt thing when she won't buy and I came walking up and I was like really dude you did yeah And he was like yeah, I like some you know German thing and I was just like not really man not really at all And just walk by and but I was like that guy really sucks and if I was at that hostel yeah, I would like wait Yeah, when no one's a regular a bit of a choke a bit of a choke Yeah, cuz if you choke somebody out out they don't know But if you choke them where they they feel they going out.
Yeah, you bring them back. Yeah, it scares them Just a little jump scare a little like oh no you feel the darkness coming. Yeah, but bring them back to the lot Do you know how to do that from jujitsu? Yeah, I can do it to you right now if you want no fair I don't want to be choked.
That's a jujitsu grip casually. It's on a Monday. It's a Monday You do a lot of choked out before I've had lunch. No, thanks.
You sound like that money bird guy. What money bird guy? This guy that's like a fake jujitsu guy. Yeah, I mean he's not fake, but he is fake He's a black belt and he's got his black belt faster than like anybody in the history of jujitsu and he's like a 48 year old Chubby like not athletic old guy who's changed his name to money bug because his name was obviously not that right and he has his own MMA podcast the organization and he has all the best fight UFC fighters And a guy that's like a legend in MMA Jake Shields gave him his black belt Okay, and usually to get a black belt it takes a decade at least a decade and you have been in many contests You fought many numerous times you've gone through it and it's not we're talking kids start at like 10 and work their way up into getting a black belt It's very hard to get a black belt very hard.
That's crazy And this dude's like yeah, I've got a black belt and the difference is like I work harder You guys don't know what it's like to put the work in he's eating your hair. I know does he do that? Nope, this is a new thing that he's doing right now. Just for you.

Yeah, no I don't I don't joke people off. You don't know now retired from that. That's good. Yeah, living a cleaner life Really I really am because I remember last one time I did your podcast you had just gone back from like a sex party Oh, I'm costume with wings.
Yeah, wow, so you've evolved. Oh, see I don't want to say evolve cuz then it's like mean to No, I think that's an eva personal evolution. Yeah, I look I'm not saying there isn't Gaze in the world. I know for sure because I know people where I've done things with them where there's girls here And they can't operate because there's a girl in the room, right?
You're super gay kind of like the opposite of like a straight guy where there's gay guys in the room They're like not really uncomfortable with that. I'm like, you know why cuz you're straight, right? So they go both ways, but for me it's more I've covered it, but I'm an addict Mm-hmm, so I was just sort of involved in whatever I could get my hands on and they were the most up to You know whatever you want to do whenever you want to do it. They were in yeah So I was like you guys are my people yeah, and then I got into the polyamorous lifestyle and all that stuff Yeah, I remember when you were in the polyamorous lifestyle It was right around the same time that you went to that sex party and you had those wings They were like black dragonish wings.
It makes sense. Oh, wow Yeah, cuz I've won wings more than once oh you have it. Yeah, it was like now. I know yeah I went to like a thing in San Francisco.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it was not good Yeah, that was when I was really high. I was doing all kinds of creative and you were you're doing cradle like a lot You know I know people don't you know come at me if you want to do it great I know we've had some podcasts about it recently, but yeah the way I did it was not healthy It's super hard to get off so I heard that they're banning it in California They're banning a version of it is a synthetic synthetic copy of it called H.O.
7 H. S. I 7 H. Okay, and that's way stronger And that's getting man and it's it's it's compatible to like a oxy Whoa, that's crazy and you could just buy it and get it the liquor store kids can get it That's crazy.
And I also don't understand how people can just get salvia. I never I've done that I haven't know but I've seen people on it and it was alarming and weird it like I remember watching someone on Salvia Being like I never want to do that I did it and was like I never want to do that again What happened? You know I just went into like I was a weird world where things went fire and I was falling yeah Through fire and I came and was like that was the worst thing ever and then it was like I was doing it over and over again I was like really like again. You're gonna do it again.
It lasts not that long But it feels like an eternity when you're on it, right? That's what I've heard it was just like a bad trip real quick No, thanks. Yeah, it was just I don't know maybe if I was younger no I just feel like if I'm gonna have a trip I want it I want to leave the trip with knowledge like from psilocybin yeah something like that or ayahuasca There's no knowledge. It's just a panic.
Yeah, it's just like hey you want to go to hell for a bit. Yeah. No, thanks Yeah, but you know it's crazy some people want to go to hell for a bit Yeah, a lot a lot of people do because they feel like they're living in hell Yeah, so then they go to a real hell and then they come back like this isn't bad man Yeah, that's why I think if I had been younger I would have been more into it I think I would have related to it more but by the time I did it I was like oh absolutely not yeah, that's not fun. I did DMT which led me to ayahuasca.
How was I was good? When did you do ayahuasca at least five to six years ago? But it was I wasn't sober. It's funny.
It does help like it I got a fancy depressants from doing ayahuasca, but I still was self-medicating so when I finished the treatment I was did it for three nights Where'd you do it? My house you did it at your house There's a guy who is a shaman who dated a girl in LA so when he was here instead of me having to go to Some other country forgot what it was for real something like that somewhere else like this is a mission Yeah, he just came to the house for three days and I did it and you know I went through a lot and the medicine did its work But as soon as I was done like I think like a day later I was drinking and went to like a some stupid party that involved all that stuff again So I just went back to running again, okay So when you start running to me, you know depends on who you are like an addict you run you don't do work Well when things get bad you use some sort of medication to run away from the paint That makes sense So the medicine wanted to do the work, but I had a habit of using other things to run So as much as the medicine was trying to help me because I could hear it talking to me After it but it was still I was like I'm so I haven't smoked weed for like it was like a week before it Before I did a trip or pair so then I did three days of the medicine so as soon as I finished the medicine I'm gonna yeah, because you know that's the good thing about you know depends I don't want to me doing the work and doing the 12 step program and all that stuff made me deal with myself facing my problems Mm-hmm now because I've sat with it for so long and face it I don't have any interest in running because I know where that leads me, you know It took so much work. I'm glad I did you know that I found out recently from the creative thing like I just white knuckled it and the lady Was here who has this supplement quick K? She was like that's really dangerous and I was like yeah I could see how somebody would say that because I thought when I was gonna go to hospital.
It was definitely like draws Oh, yeah, I was having like little seizures and stuff you were yeah, I must go to ambulance at one point And I also had like really dark thoughts of like ending it all and stuff like that for like a long time Like a couple months where I was like I don't really see the point of me being here anymore if it wasn't for me Having children I probably would have done it I was that dark but I got out of it and when you get out of it like you like smoke a joint or like sleep with some random people I'm like that'll pull me back into that and I will never forget how bad that was Yeah, so I can't do it. It's the easiest I've always through my childhood. I don't like me and now that I've worked on myself so much I and made my apologies made by amends to people. I really love me and most people love you I would say you don't see that when you're in the dark you convinced that it's a lie right and you don't care It's like if you can't you love someone if you don't love yourself You can't so how can you trust anybody if you don't trust yourself?
You can't right? So that's where I was so now that I have that Mm-hmm giving that up for like a high I know where like pretty girls in the DMs like no like not even close Mm-hmm and it used to be you know when I was married and stuff that would be a real struggle to say no to even if some of them Some of the times I was allowed to and now I'd be like if you allowed me to do that or recommend that I do that I don't want to know you either right because that is really bad. It's really unhealthy I'm not saying anyone else has to do what I'm said what I did I'm just saying from me I work so hard on getting to a place where I like me I approve of what I do in my day-to-day life 100% I think I'm a great guy. I'm not giving that up.
I've never had that my whole life I'm like 50 and I've never loved myself except for like it my egos love myself for doing something cool But that's not real love like I did a kick flip exactly. I mean not exactly that trick But yes, I've done a more experience I did like a 18 for kick-flip indie once and I was like I'm high on being cool Yeah, and now I'm like does that's a cool trick man, right? But that doesn't make you anything a good person. It doesn't mean anything at all.
Yeah, so where do you usually travel to do comedy? I go to Texas a lot. That's your thing. I've been going to Texas a lot.
Yeah, and I was in New Jersey I was in where else was I? Pennsylvania wherever I get a road date. I go. Do you enjoy Texas?
Parts of it. What parts do you enjoy? I enjoy well Kim Kongen's there and I love her I like hanging out with Kim so that and I have a lot of friends that move there So I like that and I like the ability to get up and do a bunch of sets in a week So you do find that you get to do more spots if you're in Texas a lot more a lot more just because there's more places And they're all like within walking distance from each other. You're past at the commies Yeah, but you still don't get to do that many spots.
I do like last week I did three spots at the commie store, which was great, but that's not a normal thing for you It just depends on the week At least one yeah at least one but then if I have new stuff that I want to work on and I'll just go to Texas and just for like Two weeks and then after two weeks I'm ready to come home. What are the things that you don't like about Texas? There's a lot of drinking a lot of your take I don't have to partake But I find that I do partake more than when I'm in LA because in LA I'm driving and I'm not driving in drinking Okay, so I just feel like I get more wild, you know what I mean? Yeah, and the lifestyle the eating yeah that I'm eating isn't as good and you find that when you're there you cannot make it a Good way to do it like it's just like everyone else is doing it So you know it's just like harder to find like a salad I'm like I could get a salad But there's a hamburger place down the street and I talk about staying around the corner and it's also easy like in LA I can't walk to a hundred feet without falling into a fucking salad, you know what I mean?
It's just like a different it's fine. You could do it. I could do it. Yeah, so it's more Sounds like it's more the people that you're with are all eating And drinking and smoking do you smoke weed just wait?
Yeah, do you find you smoke more weed when you're in Texas than yes? So just everything it's not that good for you. They do more in Texas I feel like yeah, and I feel honestly because in LA I feel like it's a big city There's more happening in Texas. It feels small and I feel like a sense I mean you're talking about Austin, right?
Yeah, I feel like a sense of almost boredom Yeah, and I find that my behavior based on how bored I am tends to change and also like when I'm in LA I wake up during in the morning when I'm in Austin like I'll be out until late and then I'll sleep in until late So why are you out late hanging out with friends? There's like always comedians hanging out right and you find that you cannot leave I know sometimes or I just feel like when I'm in LA. I'm not as social so when I'm there why I don't know I mean I see you you are one of the people that is like I see you and I go one day. I'll be as cool as her No, I'm not really a part of it I think that I think that's how everyone in comedy feels everyone Just needed everybody wants you have many places to go at night You could go everywhere with the people of LA as well I I could if but people I don't and also I'm dating someone who is kids so my life is like when I'm here It's like very like I do my sets I go home.
I do my podcast. I go home Are you dating someone that has kids? Yeah, I'm any kids too really two boys. I know that how old are they four and eight?
Oh, wow, they like kids. They're like kid kids. Yeah, so you're a stepmom kind of yeah Yeah, how long it's been dating almost three years. Okay, so you're in yeah, so I know I'm like I pick them up from school Sometimes I'm like I'm having a drink having a smoke.
I'm gonna eat the brisket. Okay. Well, that's different You're not with your children, right and as a guy that has kids. I'm divorced like sure they're my kids But whatever it's still if I'm not a like neither older like they don't I can't how will do they know 16 and 20?
Okay, so they won't hang out with me like I have to be like hey You guys have to have lunch with me like you have to you've ducked it for two weeks We're hanging out right and then they like okay, you know, but really I gotta go like this way You know, I'm gonna go to the board. I'm going my friends. I gotta get in the gym today I love to shoot photos of my friends with both go cars and I'm like look I'm not gonna Take you out of obviously what is like more fun, you know, have fun right do it right hang out with your dad is lame I get it like it's not that fun. I like ask you about school.
I think it'll come back around though That's what they say I think it comes back around because I was like that when I was a teenager with my parents And now I talk to them all the time and see them all the time right, so hopefully that'll turn around But look all I care about is this they're happy and they're healthy. Yeah, you know, it's not about me It's about them. That's why it's like when they're like I've got a thing to do and I'm like I'll do it yeah Don't worry about me. Don't worry about me like leave your life.
Yeah, that's being a good parent Because you don't want to put pressure on you don't want to make because my mom I love her But she used she was lonely and she would put a guilt trip on me for not hanging out Yeah, maybe not want to see her more yeah Because I'm like every time I see you I feel guilty because I haven't seen you as much and she's like well You see father all the time. I'm like I live there, you know, and honestly if he left I'd be happy Yeah, you know like if they just left me the house I'd be stoked right, but you know, but also I understand because my kids live with their mother You know they they don't want to hang out with their mother all the time but when they wake up in the morning their mums there Mm-hmm. That that's the little things that's the worst part about divorce. I'm sorry.
There's a lot of bad things about divorce But one of them is you don't see them every day just in passing. Yeah, like you've got her like really Try to and they live in LA they got an exciting life. Like they do stuff What do they do my daughter is going to school to be a nurse and she passed her? Whatever thing it is.
I know she's in this other thing where she is like a like a nurse in training dude I wish I could be a nurse. I'm so free about blood and shit piss. Oh, okay All of that stuff makes me feel weak just thinking about it. Well, I don't think I could tell my daughter wants to end up being a Esthetician she wants to Botox people Esthetician, did I say right?
Yeah, so she wants to Botox people. That's exactly what estheticians do You're right like if you live in LA and her mother and mother is well off and knows a lot of well off people that are getting older Yeah, and I'm like you do this right and you get the license to have your own business You might be in the money like you might actually come over and ask me. Yeah, like I mean I'll do it. Okay.
Yeah, don't be me up Support your child's vision. Yeah, I'm paying for it, but yeah, you do it Yeah, but it's interesting the the Texas what about do you go to New York a lot? I haven't gone to New York in a little while the last time I went was like a year ago because I think they do that more What do they do what more potty a bad smoke and drink? Yeah, they do that they do that there It's like a in the comedy world just from outside looking in people are always like oh LA and I'm like well, you know I'm older like I'm in my 50s, right and I like you know when you get closer to the end you you've got look Maybe it's close look wait till you're 50 because it's not I don't think that I'm probably gonna Outlive most of you because you all drink and smoke All pigs right But I did that and then there was like an like alarms go off where you're like whoa You know I've got friends that pass away Right, you know and they weren't that old like there's as old as me and they like drink a little too much and maybe they did a bomb Or something and they too all to do it and they're gone Yeah, and I'm definitely one of those people that could drink a little bit and be like yeah I'll do a bump like what the hell and then I'm gone right I could tell by people the way they look In your 50s.
I'm doing good for what how old I am look Yeah, you don't look like your inner 50s at all right, and I like that I know that that's not a good thing to be pumped on well It's not a bad thing to be pumped right, but it's more like my outside doesn't look good But the inside is probably doing good and that's more important Mm-hmm And I think when you get to like 40 plus and you start living that life where you're smoking and drinking There's a dramatic shift in your body where your face looks older you get more tired quicker And then you have this attitude the world has this attitude where they get older they go well I used to do that But like I'm 48 now it's like yeah, I got it got it. Yeah, I got it like move on I'm like you can still go to the gym dude like yeah, yeah, there's no like a skateboard I'm like you can still you could go snowboarding when you thought you know that right? There's no like law I don't know what this law is of like old people when it's like when you get to like 38 you got to grow up and what eat pie Oh drink wine every night like no, there's so the wine culture I've never like friends who have kids the mom the wine. Yes, they're like the kids are sleeping with one like constant And it's accepted and it does something to their face the wine Yeah, why didn't really make me sick every time I drink it when I was single and on the dating apps You could say the day apps would link me with people my age oh no, and that hurt it did because okay This is back when before I was sober, so I would see the negative part first So I would be like wait this lady's matching the app is suggesting that we should be a couple You're offended.
Yeah, but I didn't take it is I look good. She looks bad I take it as this is my dating pool now, and I don't I'd rather jump off I don't want to get I'm not gonna walk around with you you're too old and I don't care what that sounds Well, what's the age difference between you and your girlfriend no 20 okay, but say that's how it works out when you're when you're me Yeah, I'm on steroids. I take care of myself. You're on steroids.

She slid into the DMS and this was at the point where I had reached a Dating but I'm not sleeping around so I was going on dates with people and if they had a thing where I was like, ah That's not right for me.
Then I wouldn't sleep with them and I would just end it there. I was being sensible I was being yeah, this is like it's weird. You're like why are you saying that because I've never said this before I lived Away where I'll be like well, she's she's a little tweaked but I'm definitely gonna sleep with her anyway Because yeah, you know, yeah, well, I mean everyone's different I feel like I was more wild in my 20s like that when I was in college I was like, yeah, this guy's fine. I'll have sex with him right but you're a woman one So you're ahead of me and to you you're like an intelligent.
You don't have the ridiculous amount of scars that I have where I grew up Really badly, you know, like no, I had no wisdom right there was people tried to pass wisdom down But I was not hearing it I was a troubled person right for a very long time and because of being a skateboarder never really having to grow up I kind of ducked the whole responsibility thing, you know, like the only honestly the kids was I would have been gone years ago Because I you know in my skateboard life people in skateboard were like dude you were Scary like the way you partied was scary like you were supposed to be in a tent by now or dead That's crazy So to skateboarders party more than comedians not now because now the level is got so good Uh-huh and now there's like professionalism involved people have trainers coaches like when I was coming up if you had a coach We would beat you up a skateboard coach. Yeah, that would be like not cool to do that now coach someone Yeah, oh, yeah, I mean I don't think really yeah But because I'm old school I'm like figure it out yourself Yeah, yeah, yeah, but some people that have the money because you got an agent you got a manager Also when I was coming up there was only two guys in skateboarding that had an agent right one of them was Tony Hawk So and it was like he has an agent because there is actually real money on the table and he's a skateboarder And he should probably have somebody that can help him do these things right the rest of us were like getting like a couple Grandmother might give an agent how some of it like what what for why would I do that and they were like you gonna go to the next Contest I'm like cuz I'm gonna next contest. I'm invited not you you dickhead. Yeah, there was a time where they weren't necessary now There's like TV film, you know, there's things that skateboarders do that aren't skateboarding So now having these other people, you know, it would help right and because of the level people are so much better at the sport now That their athleticism their recovery time, you know, they're doing more dangerous things are getting hurt So surgeries and and and how to like get back from us an injury.
How many surgeries have you had? I don't know a lot, huh? Yeah a few More than 10 it's probably something like that. I've hit my head so much.
It's hard to remember. I don't want to slow the showdown, but yeah several say Several enough yeah, yeah But yeah, the professionalism of what they are now compared to what we were there were only a few people that were professional and the rest of us were After the contest we would party that was kind of the whole thing to me It was like if you do good. Yeah, howdy hard you do bad potty even harder like it was just always I was And what is that like are you drinking? Oh, I did it.
That's the thing. That's the thing. Oh, yeah You did injected yourself with it. I yeah one time Well, I was used to I can't really drunk and then I would get so wasted that I would break off from the crew This is when I was in Melbourne.
This is when I was like I kind of I got into a situation in skateboarding where I mean This is weird, but so I've always been a The seeker of thrills, let's say okay and one time there was a took a bunch of ecstasy And I was a trans girl at a dinner party, okay, and she was like when she came hanging out with me And I was like okay, and there was skateboarders there that saw it and then years later in America These two skateboarders that didn't like me started telling everybody that I was gay okay And it really freaked me out because I wasn't even sure if I knew I had done something with a trans girl Yeah, and I wasn't my only time right and I was like maybe I am but this is back when if you admitted that you would be Like taking out a skateboard. That's crazy This was an era where I mean in the end I denied it and I had people that had my back and people that didn't have my back on it It was a big deal and one of my sponsors called me on speakerphone with those guys What said you're kicked off the team and you're a f-bomb no they all snicker at and giggle while they hung up on the on the phone And I was no I was kicked off the team and that was like one of my main sponsors and Wait, that's so bad. I know right. Let's so homophobic.
I know that's really bad Yeah, I know it was a different world because at the time I remember I didn't think that they were bad people I thought there's something wrong. They got me, you know Yeah, so I went back to Australia Yeah, and left skateboarding because I couldn't deal with it because he was he would like tell fans kids would come up and go I heard your f-bomb no I'm like what what and he's like yeah So I'm so just said it and then there was a fight one of my escape team mates got in a fight with him because I wouldn't fight him Because I was like scared of fighting even though I like for sure could have beat him up But it was just like I had this thing where my father used to beat people up and I have a fear of fighting I always had that's why I got into MMA because I realized that it was such a big deal and people had believed me and I backed out of Things where I should have probably just smashed somebody So I faced it and like started fighting and having real fights in the cage because I was like that's scarier than a street fight Yeah, so when I trained it gave me this confidence where I didn't even expect I didn't know where it was gonna Take me I just wanted to fight one time in the cage because I was like face it like the thing that you fear the most face it Right, so I did it and then I became I fell in love with MMA I fell in love with training not hurting people being let the skill of the fight is all I care about I don't want to hurt anybody Yeah, but it gave me this confidence that when people wanted to fight me or they were fights around me I no longer had anxiety because I knew I could take care of myself and I knew I could take care of other people Right, and that kind of gave me confidence and and now like when it comes to that kind of stuff I still I'm not gonna hit anybody But if you pick on like a woman or something I'll stop you like I'll be the first one in there and I love knowing that I'm there for that You know I'm capable of doing that yeah, but yeah, so I go back to Australia I'm super depressed because I'm no longer in skateboarding anymore. Okay, why'd you retire it? I'm I it's my time and I'm like I couldn't admit it.
Yeah, I couldn't tell anybody right talking 20 years later I told people when I was on the radio I admitted it and that was only because I had dated a girl who was like I think it's hot and her friends were like I think it's hot and And we used to joke about it with each other and you know sleep with trans people together and uh-huh You should sleep with this guy and you know It was like so I admitted it on the radio and I had the confidence of the radio show and that I'd been so honest on the radio But I've had all these other things that I was like the one thing that I haven't told people is that I am bi So I just started meeting it and not realizing that I'm not I'm not bi I mean I guess I kind of am I'm just not interested in doing it like I'm not against it, you know, like if I I don't really see how it would happen, but if it did happen for some whatever reason I wouldn't I'm not like oh you're gay I'm I whatever you want to think like if you would prefer to just go be gay for the rest of my life congratulations to you I don't care right you don't need to define it. Yeah, I don't want to sleep with anybody anymore about that But I definitely am not attracted I never was attracted to men like that was the most confusing part because I would always be like well men are always down to fuck Right, and you know, you say guy that might be hot in some kind of way and you're like wow He's pretty hot right you ever see a girl and you go wow I'd like to see her on me naked no But I there are pretty girls. That's because girls are beautiful right men are Handsome I guess and it's less you're you're saying that goes beautiful. I don't have sex with her right?
She's beautiful right I'm saying there's girls will walk into a room and I'll go don't look but it's all she's so hot Don't look but it's also confusing because it's like Like I've made out with girls before and I've and I've been like well I don't I didn't really like that like she was hot Maybe I should make out with her and then I make out there and then be like no He doesn't have a dick. I'm not into it. Yeah in it weird how like if a guy said that he just be gay Yeah, he'd be gay for life. Yeah, but anyway in Australia I started We get wasted leave and do more drugs and then get prostitutes really because I was I wasn't looking to Have a relationship.
I was so hot. I would get really high like I could barely talk like on what I do a lot of ecstasy Okay, so drink a lot do a lot of ecstasy smoke weed then I found this place in St Kilda where it's like just like you know junkies prostitutes. They walk the street. Mm-hmm.

Yeah. Yeah. I was just like somebody touch it Yeah, yeah, it's really all the matter that makes sense. Yeah, cuz really if I think back no they were really bad They were like in the bushes with a rubber on like they were bad But I started to wonder like what is it that you're on because you seem high than me?
And that's when I was introduced to heroin and I knew from this one time in Vancouver I chased the dragon with some black tower on a foil. Uh-huh. So I knew how to chase the dragon so I would get Is that the cool way of saying do heroin smoking it? Chase the dragon.
Yeah, you light it on I say it sounds like a mom. Oh when you were chasing the dragon Jason What did you say something about that angels does? About PCV Like that in my face Look at age with it has magical dust. Yeah.
Yeah, I learned that in dear But it was very helpful. Yeah, but yeah, I started getting it from them and doing it myself in a car in a parking lot And then I got so depressed and down and by myself because I didn't have a job I was still getting paid to skate and nobody cared if I skated so I would just be like walking around all day by myself What do you mean you're getting paid to skate but you know checks are still in the mail for being a pro skateboarder? So when I didn't really retire I didn't compete anymore, but they were still I had like where the checks coming from from America to Australia Okay, so I still made pretty good money and it was just money in the bank that I didn't have to work for They didn't it was gonna end but in the meantime it was I think I was making like five or six grand a month From nothing like just walking around smoking weed. Yeah, so that just turned into I drink in the middle of the day And then I do ecstasy.
What would you drink when you were drinking? I mean Strongbow whites was a thing where it's an apple cider Okay, 12% a bottle whoa so that was a thing that a couple of my friends knew about where they just hit you harder So I drink I drank strong mixed drinks they had also UDLs, which is like a I think they have them here now, but back in the day when I was a kid in Australia they had passion fruit soda and vodka and orange and vodka and you know Bourbon and cokes in a can and they were stronger than beer so it was more about what can I get that's stronger than beer? Uh-huh so because I was just trying to get to it, you know and then you know go into bars somebody to do some in a gay bars where everybody drinks way more and then it was kind of like um, you know, they're like Trans girls would be like just come in the bathroom. I'll suck you off and I'm like I'm I'm like four e-bometers deep I'm by myself.
I've been by myself all day. Yeah, and everybody at this pub at this bar wants to blow me in the bathroom So I'm just getting blown over and over and over again. Oh, yeah I was I used to think it was normal, but like I could just go you could just get blown over and over and over again all day till the sun Came up. That's crazy.
Yeah real real problem Like it's turned down dramatically. Yeah, and I think it's also like my how I've how I see myself So like the the hunger of it. Mm-hmm was more now that I understand if I if I am having sex I'm not in my head. I'm not worried about what I've done in the past right what it's gonna happen to me in the future You're just like oh my deck's hard and this feels good.
It's like it's an extreme way of smoking weed is how I would put it Okay, I'm not in my head and if I can and my body would just say keep keep getting people to do that Mm-hmm, you'll never have to be in your head. So I do actually see a smoke weed I drink and I time it out right I'll never be by myself alone in my own head right cuz that's an nightmare at the time That was my biggest fear that I could alone with your own thoughts. Yeah Real terror like worse than prison. That's basically prison is because my own prison that I would put myself in Yeah, so then it got to the point where one day I was just super dark and didn't really care what happened anymore I got two focus to two to two at the same time.
Okay, are they hot or it just it doesn't matter really at the time? It didn't matter. We have mouths. Yeah, I don't need to be hot They want to have big poofy blonde hair and I was like cool.
You might like hairspray it up and stuff big Hair yeah, yeah That's bad, and then I got them to get me hair when it was like I don't know how to inject So can you do it and I have a three-seventh thing? And they injected me while I was doing something to the other one whoa and then you know I was like this is hot and then all of a sudden I'm gone and I wake up in a park by myself freezing So I don't get a park freezing and they're paying for sure carried me because those girls were gonna carry me yeah Put me in a park that I know I woke up like freezing and just somehow like woke up without anybody that I was gonna die Could have like could have not work enough how many times you think you were close to death when you were using oh I have no way a lot. I don't know. Yeah, I did do way too much.
You know every now and then would someone go whoa And I go what I like did you just do that and I'm like what yeah Because it was so normal you know because it would be every now and then somebody that I kind of liked would have like this look Of shock on their face and I go oh wow did I do something that I scare you did I alarm you with my casual heroin use yeah? Yeah, but that was the last time I ever did that okay rock bottom Thank you, and then I went back to America and faced a little bit of it And so what happened after you got kicked off of the skateboarding team for Looking up at the transfer. Yeah, that's what I went to Australia and did heroin and then what happened after that Escaping they're like oh, it's fine. No no those guys still hate me But the chance the times had changed and I think that company had lost their way and the two guys had hated me the most They got addicted to hard drugs and tried to smuggle drugs back to Australia and both got individually busted separately times and put in prison No one of them murdered somebody what and then off themselves and the other one Tried to smuggle giant amounts of Coke into the into the country and got deported and found God Okay, they've found God and they have a family and they're doing good.
Oh, I know but I'm reluctant to sort of I will never I forgive them. I'll forgive them, but I don't want to know them. Yeah, I'm gonna pass on ever hanging out with those people Yeah, that was like a thing where I'm like why like what did I really do to you and then in the end? Maybe they're in turn maybe they were gay and afraid.
Well, that's the thing that I don't want to cover too much But probably let's just say that I know why yeah, okay There's always a reason But I made it back got a ESPN job Started hanging out with Tony Hawk went on Tony Hawk tour Ken blocks on to DC what is this gameboarding tour like this? There's the one with Tony Hawk where you're on a bus and it's like you're a rock star I mean the normal skateboard tours where you're in a van with a bunch of skateboarders and you skate everywhere you go and You stay in hotels to share room with another skater and you can hang out I think it's different now because I think people take care of themselves more you do like I back then they were People that were taking care of themselves and they were annoying to me because they're like hey man Can you not smoke weed in the car and I'm like shut up pussy? Yeah, and I'm like what's up with this guy? Yeah, and they're looking back and like dude you're an asshole right like these guys were trying to like do the sport to the best Of their ability and you had a bong in the van you're an idiot.
Yeah, you never had any of that what what part? Were you a bad were you ever bad like a bad wilds in college? I was wild I did ecstasy a few times Were people concerned for you? No people were concerned for me when I got I started taking Adderall and then I kept thinking that I was like very On it because I was like cracked out of my mind Oh, how and like very productive yeah, but I was like a nightmare to be around because I was always like anxious and kind of a cunt Did you have outbursts on people?
I just was mean mean to other girls just to like edgy like cuz I would feel like shit And I would take more and then I would feel awake and anxious and just kind of bitchy Did you like see me fun people not like that just like kind of me. Oh wow just more mean because I'm not mean at all But when I took Adderall was mean Did you take it at a rollful like I start taking it in college? I was not prescribed and then I got a prescription from this really weird doctor Who was like not really a doctor like you got on to add a roll with a through a friend in college when I was in college So you didn't know doctor? No, I got on it in college Everyone was just buying it during finals week and then I got I graduated college and I started stand up and at the time I had a day job during the day and I had to do stand up at night So in order to stay up at night I just would take Adderall I would do a personal assistant stuff all day and then take Adderall and do stand up at night and that went on until like 2000 in 2019 So do you have a dealer I don't have a dealer I got a psychiatrist I went in there and I was like I think I've had anything done like all the symptoms and then the psychiatrist was like I had how much do you want would you say that you actually qualified for that drug or did you tell a story so they so they knew Really really like it was like they mean like I can't get anything done And they're like okay no problem And then the doctor who had prescribed me that eventually lost his license because he gave another woman some type of drug that ended up And she ended up dying Wow that doctor was like clearly like What you want you give me the prescription?
Yeah, you pay me out of pocket like a wee doctor like a wee doctor Well, they first used to be funny. It's hard to sleep. I'm gonna give you a prescription to get any marijuana You want yeah, yeah, yeah, I was not check anything it was that and then they're like okay I'm like well, I think I need more because it's not working as well and they got it up to yeah I was taking like 60 milligrams of it a day is how does that a lot? Yeah, that's meth right?
Yeah, it's like meth It's basically meth. It's a pretty big deal. Do you ever snore it? No, I just took the pill Yeah, did you feel euphoria ever from it?
Yeah, but also it was it was more like I can do everything that I need to do And society rewards you when you bring productive You know what I mean because I can work all day and then I can go do stand up at night And like did you ever have a feeling of I'm abusing this drug? Yeah, and a feeling of I want to get off of it But I was so addicted to it that I couldn't get off of it So how did you get off it? Well, what happened was around the time that Brody Stevens died Brody Oh, wow, yeah, yeah, that's when I got off of it because he died he wasn't on it He died and I found out that he died and I was so depressed that I just stopped taking it cold turkey after taking it for like eight or nine years Yeah, we good friends with him. Yeah, and so then I went into like some type of weird like withdrawal psychosis Yeah, I got fucking 5150 wait.
I was in the psych ward for three days Holy shit, and then I never took it again, and that was in 2019 So yeah I had to go to an ambulance and a psych ward and it was like wait why did the screen just show party balloons? So funny that is so cool party balloons. I think if you do peace signs it does nobody did a peace sign No, it's from when you held up the number two Hilarious still so inappropriate Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, so that was like the worst experience But up until then I like did you know I took ecstasy of raves with my friends in my 20s I did so after you did this 5150 thing you didn't do any drugs anymore I stopped doing Adderall completely and then I stopped my psychiatrist said no smoking me nothing while we figure out what's going on Okay, so then I took a break from smoking weed and now I occasionally smoke weed and then you make him yeah Yeah, so now you will so now I like I'm really open about the Adderall stuff because there's a lot of people who are prescribed it Yeah, I'm using it Yeah, and I feel like they have to because it makes them productive and society rewards you if you're being productive Yeah, it's like you're just on meth bro. Yeah, I'm meth yeah, which is not worth it not worth it Yeah, and then there's times like I couldn't get up at a bed if I didn't take it because you've used all your juice And now you're not using that you are tapped yeah, dude It's like the creative thing when you stop taking it the lady that was here Emily She was like your adrenal glands are tapped so when you when you go cold turkey you can go into extreme depression Because you don't have anything to like to justify why you would even care about being on the planet Yeah, it was crazy and I was in the psych ward and I had bangs and I looked so mentally ill But everything I'm sorry but everything else is like yeah girls when you bangs I'm telling you it makes you feel better When you wake up in the morning, they're sticking up like this yeah, and you're looking in the mirror of a seikward you feel real mentally You think bangs is the three over the edge.
I think it didn't help I think the bangs didn't add to it dude. I think that's the anything I had going for me I could not look in the mirror when I was coming off creative and go. Oh no my bangs are out of control Yeah, imagine if you had bangs. I'd be actually pretty happy if I had bangs prick I'd be so stoked about The worst bangs ever would still be the greatest day of my life.
Oh my god You know what it's like to go bald Sarah, but you have to have to have two on your head It doesn't even read as that your ball like it makes sense for you You know what I mean like it looks it looks right. It would be weirder if you had hair at this point I feel like that's what my girlfriend says that she's like what she sees for us with me with hair She's like you look way better without it. Yeah, it's not coming back And when did you lose it? I got lucky like late like 40 kind of thing and then you shaved it Yeah, as soon as I started to go thin I shaved it So you there's never there's no photo of me with a receding hairline.
Yeah, because I was so Narcissistic well not narcissistic so I get what you're saying when you just love image content Yeah, yeah, I was such a like cared about my my my look you know from being like cool my whole I thought I was They could be bold is like a sign of uncool and I'm like not going out like that So I got to use on your head. Yeah, the way I see it It's like I'm built for war, you know and I went bold because war is approaching in what's war like we could go to war It fights break out we could need to fight for like a woman white fight for somebody's safety Yeah War breaks out on the street in its hands like fisticuffs like your hair might be in your eyes when I punch you and kill you But my hair will not be in my eyes So I will see you coming you know I will win the war because God built me for war to win and you want to bangs in your eyes right because you will never catch me I'm always ready even if I wanted to be like cool I have hair dude have it so much different because it's like women. We're not always ready Which is probably bad dude. Yeah, maybe you're a really big big on planning And you're like here's the dress that I'm gonna be wearing in nine months in nine months I don't know it was also crazy because you could tell that she thought I was an insane bitch Because I'm like who comes to a pregnancy convention with a fake belly on somebody high on meth What not on meth anymore just high on life and sponsored by Pragmate.
