Jason Walls: Newstalk ZB political editor explains the 2023 Labour Congress

from The Sunday Session with Francesca Rudkin · host Newstalk ZB

The second day of Labour's election year Congress will give voters an idea of what to expect ahead of the 2023 election. Speaking in Wellington yesterday, Grant Robertson, Kelvin Davis and Carmel Sepuloni all took multiple digs at National and ACT over proposed changes to the Superannuation policy. Newstalk ZB political editor Jason Walls says Labour's pot-shots against National fell over at the first hurdle, as they didn't factor in National's plan for tax cuts or proposed increases to Super. "And they hadn't factored any of that in. They were left looking, frankly, with egg on their face over this one a little bit."  LISTEN ABOVESee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
