Jason York Hockey Journey (Part 1) EP96

My next guest is former NHL defenseman Jason York, who was selected 129th overall in the seventh round of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft by the Detroit Red Wings. This Nepean, Ontario native played in 757 NHL games recording 42 goals, 187 assists for 229 points, and registering 621 penalty minutes over a 13-year professional hockey career. One of the NHL stops he had in addition to Detroit, Anaheim, Nashville, and Boston, was in Ottawa, where we played together for 3 seasons with the Senators during the mid-'90s. I can't remember the last time I saw the guy, so I'm excited to reconnect and see what's been going on in his life since his playing days, but more importantly, let's start with hearing about his hockey journey.
