Jasper Ambulance to receive telemedicine equipment The Jasper City Council learned during its July 21 meeting that the Jasper Ambulance will be equipped with Avel eCare EMS Telemedicine Services using funds from a federal grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Safe Streets and Roads for All Program that was awarded to Southwest Minnesota EMS Corporation. Brian DeHaai, with Avel eCare EMS, said an iPad, speaker, microphones and antennas will be installed in and on the ambulance.
