on this episode of read receipt, we sit down with jaxie alt. jaxie is the co-ceo of stryve - the u.s.'s largest producer of biltong. a former keurig & dr pepper executive, she joined stryve to help build out the biltong brand as a growing force in the snacking space. biltong originally hails from south africa, but has boomed in the states as an alternative to other, less-healthy meat snacks. the brand has since launched a range of tasty flavors, and a stylish presence on the net. as a veteran of the food and beverage business, jaxie has helped stryve continue to grow in the snacking industry, and get more people to enjoy biltong. she joins us on the pod to teach us more about biltong, what's next for stryve, and lessons learned along the way.
