Jayhawks Big Monday Preview | Kansas Jayhawks Basketball News

The Jayhawks are primed for two massive Big Monday showdowns this season — Houston on Feb 1 and Iowa State on March 1, both at 8 PM on ESPN. With a storied 85-25 record on Big Monday and an undefeated 41-0 home streak under Bill Self, KU’s dominance is no fluke. Last year’s grit included beating top-ranked Arizona without their star guard and pulling off a nail-biting road win over Texas Tech. Houston’s return brings new faces but familiar threats, while Iowa State’s roster boasts promising talent. The season kicks off in November — and the pressure’s on to keep the Big Monday magic alive.
