Jaylen Thomas Shines with Two Pick-Sixes | Spokane News

Jaylen Thomas exploded onto the scene with a game-changing pick-six, returning an interception 50 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter to spark Washington State’s comeback. It was his second interception of the day — and his first career pick-six since fall camp, where he already showed playmaking flashes with three picks including another touchdown return. Though not starting, Thomas made a huge impact, shifting momentum and energizing the team at halftime. The Cougars’ defense still faces challenges without key cornerback Jalil Tucker and struggled to generate pressure, but players like Kaden Beatty insist it’s a learning moment — they’re focused on improving and getting back to their goal of keeping opponents off the scoreboard.
