JCC is calling for urgent national intervention in addressing a growing crisis in the city

The Joburg Crisis Alliance, together with partners WaterCAN and JoburgCAN, is calling for urgent national intervention in addressing a growing crisis in the City of Johannesburg. This comes as the city grapples with a reported R2.1 billion budget shortfall, concerns over a possible credit rating downgrade, and mounting criticism that while compliance requirements are being met on paper, service delivery and infrastructure failures on the ground continue to worsen.
