JCRAR votes to suspend new WEC rule on absentee ballot envelopes

This week's Midday podcast covers an argument between the Joint Committee for Review of Administrative Rules and the Wisconsin Elections Commission over whether election clerk are allowed to cure missing or incorrect information on absentee ballot envelopes. JCRAR voted to suspend a WEC rule on the matter, but WEC attorneys say clerks can still use ballot curing guidance from 2016.
